While the kit really shines in many areas there are several areas where Tristar had a brain fart. Not really sure how the research was top shelf in some parts and sloppy in others. None of the issues are game breakers, just really annoying.
The first issue is the worst and just plain dumb. The front weld is supposed to be flush but the front of the hull does not extend upwards. Basically, the weld just sticks out all the way to the end. You have a couple options at this point, 1) use plastic sheet to build up the area or 2) go with with up-armored version (more on this later).
