I was looking around for a model that was relatively easy and would not present many issues when I happened upon James Wechsler's book Building and Detailing Realistic Sherman Tanks. Chapter One describes Tasca's M4A1 models as the "Perfect Starter Sherman" and "some of the best Sherman models available". Well, that fit bill, especially since I already had one in stash.
Of course, I could not take the easy way out and decided to add some additional details by purchasing a Voyager Model's upgrade set. Sometimes I am my own worst enemy.
Anyway, way we go..........
