Small steps

I didn't get much done on Albatros in the last few days because I was getting ready for the upcoming model show on Saturday.  I added some PE seatbelts and painted them Vallejo buff.   I had bought a set of Eduard WWI German seatbelts and they work great.  One thing I would do differently is drill holes in the back of the cockpit and run some small wire thru the holes in order to make loops for the shoulder seatbelt straps to connect to.  Since the rear portion of the cockpit was already installed, it would be impossible to do.  I may try it later by drilling thru the backside - we will see how much trouble I want to go into to make it right.

I also added a gauge that I stole from one of my Eduard Fokker DVII kits.  The nice thing about the Fokker DVII kits is that you practically get a second set of instrument gauges.  I will use them on other Weekend kits that I have in my stash.

As a side note, I got surprise in the mail today.  I finally snagged a Battlestar Galatica Cyclon Raider (old version) from Ebay and the kit is as cool as I remember it when I was a kid.  In reading reviews, it is pretty accurate but will likely need some modifications.

"By your command" - love it.
