Cockpit is done

I didn’t get much down on the Albatross this weekend as I attended the local model show on Saturday.  I will have more on this later, but suffice to say it was a blast.

The rest of the cockpit went together fairly easy.  The only problem I had was trying to locate the proper place for the parts.  There are no locater indentions and the instructions just point to a general area.  It took a couple of attempts to get the top support beam in the right place.  I used the old tube glue to place and make minor adjustments as the glue takes several minutes to dry.  Once I was happy, I added a small drop of CA glue.

As you see, I took the quick way out of seat belt problem – I just folded them behind the seat.

I would recommend following the instructions (go figure) on putting the parts together.  I wish I would have held off putting the rear bulkhead as it made putting the seat and floor kinda of a pain.

Lastly, I put on a light black wash to bring on the details.  Now it is ready to glue the fuselage together.
