It has been a long time since I updated my journal.  This last week was very hectic as my wife held her annual garage sale.  We did real well, got rid of a lot of stuff and made a few bucks.  In fact, my wife gave the OK to buy a new modeling air compressor.  I bought an Iwata Power Jet from Dixie Art & Airbrush – it even has an air tank. I can’t wait to take that bad boy for a test drive.  THANK YOU HONEY.
I had been using my Grandpa’s old Badger.  I liked it, but it had a tendency to surge when first pressing the airbrush trigger causing a paint splatter now and then.
I plan to finish the Fokker DVIII this weekend and publish a final report soon after.  So far, this has to be one of nicest kits I have put together in a long time.  I highly recommend that you pick one up.  It is a great step into building WWI airplanes.
Also, still working on the Kampfer – it is SLOOOOOOW going trying to get rid of all the seams.  I also started a 1/144 Zaku II.  This is also an old kit but so far it has been alittle easier.
I really need to get back to the 1/32 Roden DR I and the Albatros.
No rest for the wicked…..
