Made very little progress on the Flying Razor this weekend with Mother’s Day and my wife getting ready for a HUGE garage sale.
I also forgot to mention a tip earlier that will make applying the decals on fuselage manageable (actually I read in a Model Magazine). Remove the exhaust pipes from the side of the fuselage and glue back on after the decals are applied. See Model Mags do provide some useful hints.
Anyway, this weekend I painted the rudder with a second coat of white and a coat of future. I also put on the Lozenge and Iron Cross decal on the left side – I will wait for the decal to dry then apply the other side.
I also sprayed most of the other parts with Mr. Color’s Olive Drab.
Lastly, I put the Lozenge decals on the wheels. I advise that you cut out the small hole in the middle of the decal with your Exacto-knife, as it will lay down easier (trust me, as always, I figured this out after struggling with the first one).
